The Living Lab is dstgroup\u2019s R&D project focused on industrialised construction, developed in partnership with the Norman Foster Foundation and architect In\u00eas Lobo. Located on the group\u2019s campus in Braga, this full-scale modular prototype explores new architectural and construction approaches, with a focus on flexibility and sustainability. With 4,000 m\u00b2 and around 100 units, it was designed to accommodate a range of uses \u2014 from student residences to hospitality and healthcare \u2014 integrating supporting infrastructure and a fully functional ecosystem.Presented at international events including the 2025 Milan Triennale and the Centre Pompidou, the project showcases innovation developed in Portugal and reinforces dstgroup\u2019s ongoing commitment to more efficient and responsible construction practices.
